David Newns and Chris Lord are seasoned entrepreneurs and strategic leaders.
They have founded two high growth companies and sold them to FTSE 30 companies (British American Tobacco and Imperial Brands) over a period of 6 years.
Today David and Chris invest and support start ups who have a mission to disrupt industries. For this reason they founded and provide active strategic leadership support to Prevayl.
David also sits on the management board of Imperial Brands as Group Innovation Director, one of the youngest FTSE 100 management executives.
An entrepreneur, technologist, marketer, creative and die-hard multi-platform (distributed, cloud, mainframe) full stack developer with a track record of over 30 years with companies such as Microsoft, Apple, MediaCom, Lloyds Banking Group, and Kryolan. The inventor of Push Email that became the BlackBerry by Research In Motion and holder of many patents.
Tahir’s career started at Loughborough University of Technology Computer Human Interface research centre (LUTCHI) in 1987 where he used Artificial Intelligence (AI) for image and voice recognition before being employed by Microsoft in 1989 to be their lead on operating systems and programming languages.
After successfully building a multinational software house from the bedroom of his home, Tahir went on to help Apple develop its retail store concept from 2006 to 2008.
He has worked in every capacity from his early days as a developer, to an architect, a Director of Engineer, Country Manager and CTO in territories that include the UK, Europe, U.S.A, Sub-Continent and the Middle East. His academic studies range from a Masters in Neural Networks and Marketing Management and subjects such as Computing, Finance, Art and Fashion.
Adam has had over 15 years within the fitness industry. Graduating with a Sports Science Degree, Adam has worked in the field of sports science, management and personal training. Most recently expanding the Ultimate Performance brand into twelve countries.

Sam is responsible for Prevayl’s IP strategy. He works closely with our technical team to identify and protect our many innovations. Sam also performs IP due diligence exercises to maximise the value of our IP portfolio and manage risks associated with our freedom to operate.
A seasoned Enterprise Architect and Programme/Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in successfully delivering technology services.
Abdus has worked for organisations such as the Lloyds TSB Group, Tarmac, Carillion Plc, Al Futtaim Carillion, Getronics, Subsea 7, City Mitsubishi and Gravity Group USA internationally in the UK, EMEA and USA.
He is a business strategist where he has planned and managed multimillion-pound change initiatives, aligning business goals with technology solutions to drive process improvements, competitive advantage and ultimately bottom-line gains.
A certified practitioner of TOGAF Enterprise Architect, PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) methodologies. Highly proficient in frameworks within the distributed, cloud and hybrid environments that include Agile (SCRUM/Kanban), Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) and DevOps/DevSecOps piplines.
Bella is a British designer with over 12 years experience in the functional fashion and lifestyle fields. She has worked internationally and for global markets, cutting her teeth in key roles for brands such as Timberland and Lacoste. At Lacoste she played an integral part in the development of the Paris fashion house’s official sponsored apparel for French athletes at the 2016 Rio Olympics. More recently, she headed up the design studio at luxury performance and fashion lead activewear brand Lucas Hugh. She is also a visiting lecturer at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris.
Bella believes design is an endeavour to create product with integrity and longevity through storytelling and problem solving. Always with the aim of creating apparel that reacts to the needs and aspirations of a continually changing and increasingly informed society.
Rhiannon is our in-house sensor specialist and technical communicator. Supporting sensor and textile development by utilizing her physics background – Rhiannon also has experience working with AI, micro controllers and antenna design.
